My Name is Lawrence wakamami am a Fourth year student at Mount kenya university and also a Lapider if i may say so.

Being a lapider means that i have undergone through the lapid experience .Currently as at march 2022 am at my Leadmarketplace pillar which is the second from leadself .in this blog i will be writing about my leadself pillar experience.

I got to learn about lapid from MKUs Facebook page where they advertised the program snd urged those interested to apply, being a class rep and passionate about leadership this cought my attention and for real I felt this was what all i needed to advance my ambitions.

I took a bold step and completed the long application process. And guess what i was selected for an interview

I prepared for the interview in a way that i felt streched but upon reaching the interview it was a lot of engage with the interview finally I was selected to join the program.

lapid program includes both class activities and experiential learning where we camped at Camp Malta in sagana .

My biggest takeout during the leadself pillar was the childish behaviour by Madam CSO Esther Mwaniki it was an eye opener to me and a call to exprole the world without much relying on others, it was a call to more responsibility taking and taking up the challenge have seen me became a more responsible person.

experiential learning was fun and engaging at Kusev farm kiserian we learnt a lot about turkey farming and i can say it was much interesting to understand and learn about turkey meat.

Lastly I have to acknowledge that lapid experience is one that I cannot regret going through its an experience worth to put on this blog hope you enjoyed

Thank you
